New oil supply line to the G loader - for G40 and G60, G65 loaders
The oil line is a custom-made product with a specially adapted cross-section for the requirements of the G-charger in terms of oil supply. If the cross-section is too large, the oil pressure in the charger is too high and this leads to leaks at the Simmerring. In the worst case, the shaft seals (if oil lines with too large a diameter are used) can even be pushed completely out of their seats.
The oil supply line should be changed regularly during the G-charger overhaul. The oil line will become brittle due to heat and environmental influences and can bend inside. In this case, the G-charger does not get any more oil, which leads to drastic damage within a few kilometres. The oil line to the G-charger should be changed after 5 years or 50,000 km at the latest.
