The installation of the oil planer prevents the engine oil from foaming during extreme driving. The crankshaft cannot dip into the sloshing oil and cause it to foam. This means that the oil pump always has sufficient oil available for pumping. Engine damage/bearing damage can be prevented.
The oil planer can be used with the original oil pan, as well as the Schrick aluminium oil pan and our own TP oil pan. The rubber seal is already vulcanised onto the oil scoop - no additional seal is required!
