Overhaul of the G40 supercharger from the 2nd generation of trunk superchargers.
The trunk loader has only one round intake opening, called the "trunk". The "trunk" is fixed to the casing and cannot be removed. If the trunk is plugged into your turbocharger, it is a 1st generation turbocharger, for which we unfortunately cannot currently offer an overhaul.
The special feature of the G40 nut loader is that the sealing strips in the housing and displacer are longer than on the later 2F loaders.
The loader is completely disassembled by us and checked for damage, wear and distortion. During the overhaul, the parts are always washed in the parts cleaning facility.
All wear parts are replaced during the overhaul:
- 2 main bearings housing (FAG)
- 1 displacement bearing INA
- 2 auxiliary shaft bearings (FAG)
- 5 oil seals (TP - Theibach Performance)
- 4 sealing strips housing (Merkle)
- 4 sealing strips displacer (Sintimid)
- 1 toothed belt 11.5 mm (Gates)
- new housing screws
The complete assembly and function test is part of the service, as is the disposal of the old wear parts.
