Small steel charger wheel with 74mm diameter to increase the boost pressure for all G60 and G65 chargers in VW Golf, Corrado, Passat and Rallye Golf.
The supercharger wheel is CNC machined from steel and painted black. With a steel supercharger wheel, the belt slip on the G supercharger is less than with an aluminium wheel.
A suitable tuning chip, short V-ribbed belt or thread-adjustable belt tensioner are required.
With the 74mm steel impeller, the increase in performance is moderate. The advantage is that the wear in the G-charger is low due to the low speed increase.
