The G70 supercharger with magnesium displacer is probably the top of the range in terms of G-superchargers!

During development, we were able to draw on the experience gained from our billet G65 supercharger 2.0. It was very important to us that we could continue to use the original main shaft and auxiliary shaft from the G60 superchargers.

The housing is milled out of solid material, no aluminium casting as with the original superchargers. The material used for the housing of the G70 is much stronger and more stable. The likelihood of wear on the running surfaces or worn grooves is therefore much lower than with an original housing made of cast aluminium. The G70 G-Lader also fits the original mounting points in the Corrado, Golf and Passat G60. The same applies to the oil lines, intake hose and bypass pipe. The supercharger is therefore exchanged 1 to 1 for the G60 supercharger.

The displacer of the G70 supercharger is made of magnesium. Here we achieve a weight of only 770 grams. This means that we are only about 30 grams heavier than an original displacer from the 3rd generation. By the way, a grease quantity of approx. 40 grammes is used for the grease coating! The difference in weight is insignificant. The light mag - displacer protects shafts and bearings.

Our G70 superchargers are delivered with a sealed 72mm supercharger wheel.
